Meet The Team

Judy Muehlbauer joined October Three during the Retirement Learning Center (RLC) acquisition in 2023. She began her career in the retirement industry with Coopers & Lybrand, LLC (C&L) in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1993 as an associate in the Human Resources Advisory Group. She fell in love with employee benefit plans, drafting and designing employee education materials for clients and open enrollment guides.

While working as a consultant with Universal Pensions Inc. (UPI, she worked on fee-for-service consulting projects and wrote and edited educational and consumer materials for financial organizations on various IRA and qualified retirement plan topics. In addition, she also authored articles for UPI’s award-winning IRA Reporter and Retirement Plans Bulletin.

Judy graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Spanish Literature and a minor in Foreign Studies. She has passed all exams for the CEBS designation and the QKA designation through ASPPA and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and Phi Kappa Phi. She is a serial hobbyist in her spare time and loves refurbishing old furniture.
