Jennifer Kiffmeyer

Chief Operating Officer- RLC ()

Jenny joined October Three when it acquired the Retirement Learning Center (RLC) in 2023. She serves as RLC's Chief Operating Officer and aims to help improve workers' retirement income security.

Jenny began her retirement services career with Universal Pensions, Inc. (UPI) in 1993 as an IRA and retirement plan technical consultant. At UPI, she held the roles of consulting manager, managing editor, and, following the BISYS acquisition of UPI, manager of ERISA content. In 2004, Ms. Kiffmeyer left BISYS to join the PLANSPONSOR Institute and, eventually, RLC as director of educational content. She has a strong track record for producing award-winning educational content and regularly contributes articles to industry periodicals and newsletters, including "Case of the Week" for NAPA-Net.

She has played a vital role in developing several professional certification programs in the retirement services industry for the American Bankers Association, PLANSPONSOR, the Retirement Income Industry Association, the Retirement Advisor University and the National Association of Plan Advisors. She has also served on the Consumer Advisory Board for the Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation and co-authored and edited RLC's book, "Retirement Resource Guide: Essential ERISA Education & Best Practices for Financial Advisors," the winner of multiple APEX Awards for publication excellence. She is also a sought-after industry speaker and panelist. Jenny graduated Summa Cum Laude from Taft Law School in 2016, where she received her Juris Doctor, specializing in ERISA law. Before that, she earned B.A. degrees in speech, communications and anthropology from Luther College and completed graduate work at Bemidji State University in Minnesota. Jenny maintains the Certified IRA Services Professional and Certified Retirement Services Professional designations from the Institute of Certified Bankers.

The musical theater bug bit Jenny at a young age, and in her free time, she enjoys participating in and supporting community theater in central Minnesota.
